Jennifer Van Oosten

Jen has been playing volleyball for well over 3 decades. Her career started in high school in the Midwest volleyball hub of Michigan, after she outgrew (at 6’1”) gymnastics. She also played Junior Olympics (JO) and was asked to attend multiple invitational camps at NCAA D1 Western Michigan University (WMU). She was eventually recruited to NCAA Division II at Hillsdale College. She has since gone on to play indoor and beach leagues in Michigan, Virginia and Maryland. Jen is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as well as an AOC Level 2 Certified Head Volleyball Coach. She started her coaching career with Howard County and made the transition to club volleyball many years ago. Jen has been the Head and/or Assistant Coach at just about every
age and compete level at Maryland Juniors. She is also the Head Varsity Coach at Long Reach High School.
