Adrienne Thiry

This will be Coach Addie’s second year at Maryland Juniors, she was the assistant coach for 17 Elite Black and head coach for 16 Regional Black for the 2022-23 season.

PLAYING EXPERIENCE

• Played HS for Assumption High School in Louisville, KY (State and National Champions)
• Club VB from ages 12-18 (KJVA/KIVA)
• Played Division I volleyball at  Rutgers University(earning Big East and Rutgers University titles)
• Professional VB over 3 years in Austria and Slovenia

COACHING EXPERIENCE

• Club coach (age 13) in NJ after college (1 season)
• HS head coach freshman and asst. coach varsity in Louisville Kentucky for 3 seasons
• Club coach in Louisville KY for MAVA – assistant to ages 15 and 10 and Head coach for 14s age group for 3 years
•  Club coach in St. Louis, MO (Assistant to 15s) for 2 seasons while in law school
• Club coach in Dc for 1 season
• HS assistant varsity coach for St Andrews in MD for 1 season
• HS coach in DC for varsity for 2 seasons (assistant) and JV head coach for 1 season – at Sidwell Friends for 3 seasons total
• Travel Coach for AAVB (All-American volleyball) for 3-4 summers and I continue to fill in when there is a need
