Paul Russell

Paul Russell is a first-year coach with Maryland Juniors this year as an associate head coach for Boys 18 Elite Black. Paul finished his college career at George Mason University this past May where he played Outside Hitter, Libero, and served as an assistant coach after having to medically retire his senior year. He has developed coaching experience over the last six years coaching camps and private lessons at Maryland Juniors and The St James, but this will be his first year coaching a travel team. Paul played his juniors club volleyball at Maryland Volleyball Program and Annapolis Volleyball Club before committing to George Mason University to continue his volleyball career. He is excited to begin his club coaching career and his focus is on developing competitors, excellent teammates, and fundamentally-sound athletes while growing the game of boy’s volleyball in the Chesapeake region.
